Riding in a halter, help please?

Do you think it's possible to dressage in a halter? I know it wouldn't really be on the bit if in a halter, but my gorgeous horse goes 'on the bit' pretty well in a halter, better than he does in a bridle. He also stops and turns a lot more happier. He is just a more happy horse. So yeah, advice on halter riding please :) cause I might start doing everything in a halter! Any comments would be great thanks.
