Nightmares of my ex, how to stop?

I am now no longer in school with my ex, i was hoping that over the summer i would deff. get over her, but litterally every night i've been having dreams of her and they are nightmares. like one was i was being forced to watch her get rowdy with her bf and my screams were unheard. how can i prevent myself from dreaming these sort of things?
