What is the worst punishment (other than death or outright physical torture) you can think of? Bernie Madoff?

I'm not some sadomasochist.. I was just getting pissed off at the Madoff news and was imagining the worst thing that the govt could do for him... Solitary confinement isn't imaginative enough.... any ideas?
