Writing a paper on SLAVERY. Need help with thesis. Please read over my thesis and give idea/suggestions.?

You need to think about other things: Fist slaves were seen as property, and they had hard work, but the owner did not want to kill the slave, because they invested money in them. There was cruelty for sure. You can find some references to cruelty in the slave diaries, they were interviews taken by people working for the government during the great depression. Also you may want to look at the book: the peculiar instution, this was a book on slavery, which has the premise that slavery was peculiar to the US, in the type it evolved into.
