Windows or mac laptop?

I want to get a laptop for christmas but im not sure which company i should go with. ive used windows for as long as i can remember, and of course, the gr seems greener on the othe side, so im wondering, which computer will best suit my needs? I use the internet a lot for social networks, internet games and research. I want to be able to play games on it and use photoshop type programs. I dont really care about any of the office tools, maybe a wordpad for typing up papers but i dont care about the other stuff windows offers (excel, powerpoint etc). I dont know much about the internals and fancy geek talk with computers so all of that jargon wont mean anything to me lol
