Creative Names and Ideas for a fund raising drive?

I am really interested in helping families and children in 3rd world countries especially in Africa. So I began fostering a child through World Visions and this year they sent us a catalog where you can give families livestock and other things. Like you can do it as a gift in someones name and such. Anyways.... I was thinking that I could do a fundraiser at my school like twice a year where we could collect a large amount of money and as a school buy one of the more expensive needed items. IE a well, an ox, a farm, farming equipment, ETC. so to get to my question... Do you have any good names for the fundraiser? and creative ways to get people to donate money other that just soliciting people or asking them for donations. thanks!
